In the wake of the COVID crisis ... planning an event can be challenging. Many events, weddings, graduation celebrations, corporate parties have been cancelled or postponed. This leaves countless people and families struggling to salvage their event while trying to follow safety guidelines outlined by The CDC & their state.
This can be a daunting task. The best method for planning a successful event, is to study the relevant guidelines, and plan from there. Will you have hand sanitizing stations? Will you provide customized masks? Possibly signs for guests indicating proper social distancing? Be creative with ideas of how to encourage safety in a fun way.
At the McConnell House and Rock Barn, we strive to accommodate our guests according to these guidelines and your comfort level. We have enough space to allow for social distancing, as well as outdoor spaces if guests are more comfortable not being indoors. We also offer options for smaller gatherings, in case our patrons wish to scale back their guest lists for additional safety.
